Swimsuit, retro version

Still remember this pink suit? You might notice that it was not what Kecil wore when swimming during the staycation.
Not because she does not like that pink suit anymore.
Unfortunately, after a whole summer (and more) of hard use (jumping, swimming, more jumping, climbing up the pool side), it has gotten... well... a bit stretchy.
Which was why Mama turned to the other swimsuit, which had hardly been worn until the staycation.

Although Kecil got both suits at the same time, this one had been ignored so far. I guess partly because it was not as 'pink' as the other one. But the main reason was due to its design.
A halter neck suit, it came with a plastic clasp at the nape, which had apparently cracked and thus rendering the suit ... uncomfortable, thanks to that small gap at the plastic that kept pinching the skin (or pulling the fine hairs at the nape).
Having identified the problem, Mama set to work, taking off the clasp and replacing it with matching pink ties, and voila! Problem solved, and I got one cute retro baby.

Pink ties instead of plastic clasp at the nape

Well, Kecil wasted no time wearing the suit (and wearing it hard!). She's off jumping, swimming, climbing and so on, especially when the sunny weather seemed to follow us back from Manila.

Unbelievably, the suit has already shown some wear and tear. I guess it must have come from all the wiggling on her stomach while Kecil tried to climb to the pool side without help. She's cool like that. And because of that, I guess I'm pretty cool with buying her a new suit soon. Kecil is getting more and more independent in the pool. That's worth more than a few swimsuits.
Cheers, Little One!
