A new ride!!!

After all that talk about rains and hitching a ride from friends, 2 things happened.
First was a sunny break through the weekend. Look at the beautiful blue sky! Nothing makes you so appreciative of the blue sky like days of continuous downpour, as well as the prospect of more such rain.
The second was a new ride. Woohoo!

The office actually approved another car for Daddy's operation here, so during the sunny weekend, we took the new car for a ride.

We are quite happy with the new ride, but nobody is happier than the Little One, who quickly established the back seat as her 'domain'.

Oh yeah, she's happy with the car all right. Just look at that huge grin of hers.

We've used the new ride for driving around, especially for school runs and various errands.

And yes, every time Kecil would sit at the back, trailing sand on the carpeting. This Mama thought she drives around 'cargo' rather than passenger, what with all the opening and closing of the hatchback at the back of the car.

Now Kecil does not only love riding in the car. She kind of love the car itself. That's why the other day, when Mama was wiping down the car, she wouldn't be left behind as well.

Ah well, the car is still around, and Kecil is still in love with the whole idea of a new ride, so you can expect more stories in this line. Perhaps car washing, next?
